Impressions from school district leaders:

"I have been in education for 25 years. It is, unfortunately, a rare experience for teachers to walk away from a speaker feeling empowered. Dr Jenson’s presentation made me feel SEEN. I felt so validated and encouraged. In a time when so many of us are in our survival mode, Chris helped me shift my mindset and reminded me why I love my job. He showed us how to make small but significant changes that have helped me to continue loving my work with kids."

"An excellent presenter with a compelling message, Chris can not only talk the talk, he can and does, walk the walk. As we continue our work to engage students in rigorous and relevant learning experiences, Dr. Jenson’s message is a “must see and hear” for all of our students, staff and parents. His message is delivered with passion, meaning and hope."

Impressions from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):

"As an expert in science education for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), I first met Dr. Jenson when he participated in the competitive Science Ambassador Fellowship at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Since then, I have had the opportunity to collaborate closely with Dr. Jenson for two years as a co-author and co-presenter.
Dr. Jenson has a clear understanding of the crucial skills and standards that students need in order to be successful in science, and in life. He is truly on the cutting edge of developments and trends in both science and education. He emphasizes both project-based learning and the use of real-world examples within the classroom. His instruction is engaging, using research based methods that facilitates student learning.
Dr. Jenson’s method of delivery goes above and beyond traditional didactic classroom ideals and results in his students gaining a deeply unique and profound understanding of real world skills. One such instance of Dr. Jenson’s unique and impassioned approach to education is in his design and execution of an extensive cross-curricular opioid lesson plan, titled “Risky Rx: - The Opioid Crisis in America”, in which he co-authored with the CDC. This lesson plan has been featured at three nationally recognized universities across the United States, and is in the process of being published on the CDC website, where it will be accessible by thousands of teachers around the world.
His passion, drive, and creativity are unparalleled in his field, and makes him an asset to the students, faculty, and education community as a whole."

Impressions from professional development coordinators:

“Dr. Chris Jenson has a unique and inspiring story that transforms anyone who has the opportunity to hear it. We have been so fortunate in Blue Valley Schools to have him speak annually to our new hires at their onboarding and to be our keynote speaker for our Summer Leadership Conference. He presents compelling facts and offers vital solutions to one of the most comprehensive problems in education today. The most persuasive argument he offers is that he genuinely lives out his message. Through his authenticity, passion, and humility, he empowers educators to shift their focus away from content acquisition to leveraging content as a mechanism for teaching students essential skills to thrive in an increasingly complex and diverse world. ”

Impressions from corporate and community leaders:

"Chris Jenson is, in a word, a professional. Professional in his actions - of course - but more importantly, a professional in his perspective, approach, and vision. His ability to understand the present, in context with future needs allows him to craft a vision of the future that most are unable to achieve. Equally important, he is able to communicate this vision in a clear, no-nonsense manner."
